Cocopeat Brick
Cocopeat Brick
Description Product
A coco brick, also known as a coconut coir brick, is a compacted block or brick made from coconut coir, which is the fibrous material found in the husk of coconuts. These bricks are commonly used as a growing medium and soil amendment in gardening and horticultural applications. There are two main types of coco bricks: cocopeat bricks and cocohusk bricks.
Coco bricks are typically dehydrated and compressed into a convenient brick shape for ease of handling and transportation. When you add water to a coco brick, it expands and breaks apart, becoming a loose and fluffy growing medium.
One of the advantages of using coco bricks is that they are a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to peat moss, which is not a renewable resource. Coco coir is pH neutral, making it suitable for a wide range of plants, and it can hold moisture well while also providing good drainage.
